Job summary

Miguel’s Jr. in Murrieta is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during a shift, working with the GM/AGM to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service. This role requires hands-on leadership of FOH and BOH tasks and a pathway to higher management.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service, strong communication skills, and basic MS Office proficiency. A high school diploma is required, and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication to effectively be a team leader and member with predominantly English-speaking guests and team members.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate with GM and AGM to ensure optimum shift performance.
• Communicate with the next shift's supervisor for a prepared handover of team and business.
• Assist GM with interviewing and hiring of new Team Members.
• Rally the team and provide exceptional Guest Service.
• Enforce rules and regulations per the Employee Handbook.
• Maintain office duties and paperwork as required.
• Bilingual Spanish understanding is a plus.
