Job summary

Red Robin is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations during mid and closing shifts under exempt management. You will ensure guest satisfaction, maintain cleanliness and food quality, and support the leadership team with training and scheduling.

You must be at least 21, with 1 year of full-service restaurant experience preferred. ServSafe is preferred and strong leadership and communication skills are required to excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 1 year full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and ability to effectively supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• ServSafe Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
• Lead and supervise peers to maintain performance and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with management and staff to maximize profit and smooth operations.
• Train and mentor team members on policies and procedures.
• Assist in scheduling and labor management as needed.
