Job summary

Red Robin is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage daily restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts, under exempt management. You will help uphold brand standards, supervise peers, and ensure guest satisfaction while focusing on profitability and cleanliness.

This role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, with on-the-job training for specific management tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Maintain high standards in cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity with ability to supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Strong oral and written communication, leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, plus strong analytical abilities.
• Basic PC literacy.
• Flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations during scheduled mid and closing shifts under exempt management.
• Act as ambassador of Company & Brand Equity Standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Supervise peers and resolve guest interactions with a focus on guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Perform other hourly roles as needed based on restaurant requirements.
