Job summary

Wingstop in Manitowoc, Wisconsin seeks a Shift Leader to support the General Manager in daily operations and direct the restaurant in the GM’s absence. You will help recruit and schedule staff and ensure a safe, friendly dining environment that reflects the Wingstop culture.

You will coach team members, maintain pace and quality, handle guest inquiries with a positive attitude, and manage cash and inventory in collaboration with the District Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in food service, retail or restaurant supervisory role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative and assertiveness.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven leadership to train, develop, and motivate a diverse crew.
• Passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Ability to work a changing schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager with staffing the restaurant in a timely, efficient manner.
• Maintain a safe restaurant environment for team members and guests and promote Wingstop culture.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members using company tools and resources.
• Control cash, property, product and equipment; manage labor and food costs.
• Identify and communicate maintenance needs to Facilities; uphold Wingstop standards.
• Ensure effective communication from GM to all team members and ensure high performance.
