Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a Shift Leader to drive daily restaurant operations and lead team performance on assigned shifts. You will act as Manager on Duty, delivering an exceptional guest experience while upholding Wingstop’s standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.

The role requires a hands-on leader who coaches team members in real time, manages fast-paced operations, and ensures accountability to performance expectations across kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or shift leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage restaurant operations during assigned shifts as MOD
• Deploy team members effectively across key positions (kitchen and front of house)
• Drive strong execution during peak and non-peak hours
• Monitor ticket times, order flow, and Speed of Service (SOS) performance
• Adjust staffing and manage breaks based on business needs
• Communicate clear goals and expectations to the team each shift
• Execute daily cleaning plans and maintain sanitation standards
• Balance registers and complete required shift documentation
• Open/close procedures with consistency
• Support deposit processes when assigned
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service on every shift
• Address and resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
