Job summary

IHOP Restaurants in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, drive profitability, and uphold IHOP standards of quality and service. You will supervise front and back of house teams, recruit and train staff, handle guest concerns, and ensure compliance with SOPs while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; and to write routine reports.
• Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives for the restaurant per SOPs and operations plan.
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with hourly employees and the franchisee organization.
• Managing the restaurant floor with frequent guest contact and handling complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensuring recruitment, training, food safety, sanitation, and security practices comply with SOPs.
• Carrying out supervision, recruitment, training, directing workflow, evaluating performance, and resolving issues.
• Completing reports on time and maintaining personnel files.
• Available to work days, nights and weekends.
