Job summary

IHOP in Hobbs, NM seeks an operations supervisor to lead daily unit performance and guest satisfaction. You will drive budgeted sales, build professional relationships with guests and staff, and implement Craft Training for hourly employees to boost service quality.

As part of the leadership team, you will support the General Manager in achieving financial and HR objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth operation of the unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to speak and read English; interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; rate, ratio, percent; interpret graphs.
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense and solve problems in standard situations.
• Valid Driver’s License required to drive on company business.
• IHOP training course certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations to assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
• Assist in executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service and HR objectives per SOP and operations plan.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for the unit.
• Assist in recruiting, training and retaining employees as defined by SOP and operations plan.
• Maintain adequate levels of food, supplies, and equipment; ensure proper operation and safety standards.
• Oversee safety, sanitation, and security practices per SOP.
• Complete required reports and paperwork; perform other duties as assigned.
