Job summary

HMSHost in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) to assist branch management in operating QSR-style restaurant services. You’ll ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, and running to high standards, while supervising associates and supporting hiring and scheduling.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring safety compliance, and managing inventory and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience.
• Minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents, and communicate with customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists the AGM/GM by supervising day-to-day activities of restaurant staff.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring processes; communicates promotions or status changes to GM.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures health, safety, and HACCP standards are followed at all times.
• Monitors cash handling and POS transactions per policies; secures cash safely.
• Places orders for units, receives goods, and processes invoices.
