HMSHost Corporation in Minneapolis is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) to assist branch management in executing QSR-style operations. This role ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, ready for service, and compliant with company policies.

You will supervise day-to-day activities, help with hiring input, schedule coverage, and enforce health, safety, and HACCP standards. The MGRI reports to the GM or operations director and works a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Opens, runs, and closes procedures per policy.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within units.
• Participates in hiring discussions and provides input to management.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures coverage for all shifts.
• Ensures mandated breaks and meal periods are taken.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and appealing display areas.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order and cash handling is compliant.
• Enforces health and safety policies and HACCP standards.
• Manages orders, receipts, and supplier invoices.
• Maintains current associate contact information and rotates schedules.
