Job summary

HMSHost in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) to assist Branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and runs with high standards, using prescribed policies to guide decisions.

ESSENTIAL: manage daily tasks, supervise associates, participate in hiring decisions, schedule coverage, and ensure safety compliance and well-being programs are observed.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists the AGM/GM in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined group of restaurants or POS.
• Participates in the interview process, provides input in hiring, recommends termination or promotion to the GM.
• Assigns work tasks, helps prepare schedules, ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures all associates take mandated rest breaks and meals.
• Keeps display areas clean, stocked, and visually appealing; monitors equipment.
