Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in tactically executing QSR restaurant operations. The MGRI ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high operational standards. The MGRI uses prescribed policies and procedures to make management decisions.

The position reports to the GM and requires flexible shifts, HACCP knowledge, and experience supervising a team. HMSHost offers health, retirement, and tuition reimbursement benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service.
• Requires at least 6 months of supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Knowledge of sanitary, safety, and health standards (HACCP) and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily, and closing procedures in accordance with policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within the unit.
• Assists in interviewing and hiring decisions and schedules for restaurant staff.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, ensures shifts are covered and rest breaks are observed.
• Maintains clean, well-stocked display areas and ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and follows cash handling policies and security.
