Job summary

You will supervise craft employees, coordinate training, and partner with the General Manager on HR, marketing and financial objectives to drive performance and guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2–4 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Certification through IHOP training courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and the guest experience.
• Assist in executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service and HR objectives.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to assigned unit.
• Assist in recruitment, training and retention of employees as defined by SOP and operations plan.
• Ensure adequate levels of supplies.
• Ensure proper operational condition of equipment, building and premises.
• Ensure safety and sanitation practices are maintained.
• Ensure security practices as defined by SOP.
• Assist in completion of all required reports and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
