Job summary

IHOP is seeking a Restaurant Operations Supervisor in Tempe to lead the unit by directing daily activities, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to SOPs. The role focuses on achieving budgeted sales and profits while maintaining safety and quality across all functions.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience, strong English skills, and a valid driver's license. IHOP training certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–4 years related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret safety/operational documents.
• Ability to perform basic math including rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense to execute written or oral instructions.
• Valid Driver’s License required to drive Company business.
• IHOP training certifications and related qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the achievement of budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations.
• Assist in executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service and HR objectives.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and SOPs for the unit.
• Assist in recruitment, training and retention of employees.
• Ensure adequate levels of supplies and proper equipment condition.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and security practices as per regulations and SOP.
• Complete required reports and paperwork; perform other duties as assigned.
