Job summary

Logan's Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a single Tennessee restaurant. You will drive daily operations, safety, and guest service while mentoring management and hourly teams.

The role emphasizes cost control, staffing, and adherence to company policies in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with the General Manager, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with SERV Safe, HACCP, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum two years restaurant management experience required.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to positively motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
• Energetic and flexible.
• Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Forms strong working relationships within team.
• Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
• Follows direction with focused attention.
• Strong computer skills
• Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications
• Meets all company service standards
• Completes all ongoing certifications/validations (LTO, new menu, etc.)
• Maintains a clean area in the back -of-house.
• Works swiftly to complete all service well tickets within company timeframes
• Adhere to company Uniform Attire & Appearance standards

Responsibilities

• Model hospitality skills by conducting 100% table visits of guests.
• Effectively handle guest complaints.
• Assist marketing techniques and research to attract new guests.
• Build positive relationships with the community.
• Assist with staffing: review applications, interview, train.
• Plan and lead shift meetings and solicit feedback.
• Provide performance feedback and recognition to hourly team members.
• Ensure proper submission of guest and team member incident documentation.
• Communicate employee relations issues to HR.
• Manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals, including labor and cost of sales.
• Complete administrative manager functions and transactions.
• Ensure adherence to SERV Safe, Food, OSHA, and HACCP standards.
• Ensure PCI compliance for credit card documents.
• Audit time punches daily and correct as needed.
• Roll out new company programs and policies.
• Unloading vendor deliveries and rotate inventory.
• Monitor food/beverage quality and recipe adherence.
• Support bank deposits and cash handling processes.
• Coordinate facility maintenance reporting through proper channels.
• Maintain vendor relationships for timely deliveries.
• Understand budget and analyze sales data to meet revenue and control waste.
