Job summary

LOGAN is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Logan's Roadhouse location in Chattanooga, TN to oversee restaurant operations, drive sales and profits, and ensure guest satisfaction and safety. This role builds a strong team, drives training, and ensures compliance with company standards.

You will hire and train staff, supervise daily activities, and collaborate with the General Manager to deliver outstanding service while maintaining safety and quality across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum two years restaurant management experience.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to motivate employees to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Model hospitality skills by conducting 100% table visits.
• Effectively handle guest complaints.
• Assist marketing techniques to attract new guests.
• Build positive relationships with the community.
• Staffing: review applications, interview, and training.
• Plan and lead shift meetings; solicit feedback from team.
• Provide performance feedback and development goals for hourly staff.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards are met.
• Manage cash handling and bank deposits with accurate records.
• Ensure adherence to ServSafe Alcohol, Food, OSHA standards.
• Maintain vendor relations and timely deliveries.
• Monitor sales data to meet revenue goals while controlling waste and labor.
• Oversee facilities issues and coordinate repairs through proper channels.
• Maintain a clean back-of-house area and proper uniform appearance.
