Job summary

Logan’s Roadhouse in Jackson, TN is seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant General Manager to lead a single restaurant’s daily operations, drive sales, manage P&L, and develop management and hourly teams. You will ensure food safety, labor and cost controls, and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional guest service.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on coaching, and the ability to manage a busy hospitality environment with a focus on quality, consistency, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum two years restaurant management experience required.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Energetic and flexible.
• Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Strong computer skills.
• Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications.
• Meets all company service standards.
• Completes all ongoing certifications/validations (LTO, new menu, etc.).
• Maintains a clean area in the back-of-house.
• Works swiftly to complete all service well tickets within company timeframes.
• Adhere to company Uniform Attire & Appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Model hospitality skills by conducting 100% table visits of guests.
• Effectively handle guest complaints.
• Assist marketing techniques to attract new guests.
• Build positive relationships with the community.
• Assist with staffing needs; review applications, interview candidates, train.
• Plan and lead shift meetings; solicit feedback.
• Provide performance feedback and recognition to hourly team members.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals.
• Oversee administrative manager functions and transactions.
• Maintain cash handling and deposits.
• Communicate facilities concerns to Director of Operations.
• Maintain vendor relationships and timely deliveries.
• Monitor food/beverage preparation and quality standards.
