Job summary

Logan's Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee a single location's operations, drive sales, and manage profit and loss. You will hire and train management and hourly staff, ensure safety and sanitation, and partner with the General Manager in daily leadership.

The role requires at least two years of restaurant management experience, strong communication, and the ability to motivate a team; a college degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Two years of restaurant management experience required.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Motivate employees to work as a team to ensure food and service standards.
• Energetic and flexible, with a calm demeanor in difficult situations.
• Well organized and detail oriented; maintains cleanliness in the back-of-house.
• Strong computer skills; familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations to meet sales and profit goals; manage hours and cost of sales.
• Hire, train, and develop management and hourly staff; lead shift meetings.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance (ServSafe, OSHA, HACCP).
• Coach employees with feedback, goals, and recognition; provide ongoing development.
• Address guest complaints promptly and maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and vendor relationships for timely deliveries.
