Job summary

IHOP is seeking a restaurant manager to lead daily operations at our Phoenix location, focusing on profitability and guest experience. You will oversee front- and back-of-house activities, ensure quality standards, and drive sales growth while maintaining IHOP SOPs.

The role requires strong leadership, training capacity, and the ability to manage resources and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will mentor staff and uphold service excellence within a fast-paced dining environment.

Qualifications

• English language skills to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures.
• Proven leadership and guest service abilities.
• Ability to train and develop front-of-house and back-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and the guest experience.
• Assist in the execution of annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations which are applicable to assigned unit.
• Assist in the recruitment, training and retention of employees as defined by SOP and operations plan.
• Ensure adequate levels of supplies and proper operation of equipment.
• Ensure safety and sanitation practices per regulations and SOP.
• Assist in completing required reports and paperwork.
