Job summary

Jack in the Box is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee restaurant operations in partnership with the Restaurant Manager, ensuring day-to-day excellence in service, quality, and safety.

You will recruit, train, and develop team members, monitor staffing, coach for performance, and uphold brand standards. You’ll use management tools to analyze performance and help drive sales and profitability while complying with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years as Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; P&L exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Train, develop, and evaluate staff; ensure staffing levels and compliance with policies.
• Monitor guest experience and food quality; address complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support profitability by analyzing performance data and controlling costs.
