Job summary

Jack in the Box in California seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee unit operations, drive the Service Profit Chain, and uphold the Brand Promise. You will develop the team to deliver excellent internal and external service, ensure compliance with policies, and focus on growing sales and profit.

The role requires leadership, training, and strong guest service skills, with responsibility for staffing, training, and day-to-day management of a fast-paced restaurant.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Internal Promote: 1+ years as an Associate Manager or 2+ years as First Assistant Manager; External Recruit: 3+ years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: English fluency; strong interpersonal, math, analytics, organization and planning; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Internal Service: Recruit, train, develop and evaluate restaurant employees; ensure training on workstations is implemented; uphold labor laws.
• External Service: Ensure guests have an exceptional experience, train and hold team accountable for service and food quality; address guest concerns professionally.
• Sales & Profits: Use management tools to analyze performance, identify trends, implement action plans, and control costs to protect the brand.
