Job summary

Tin Lizzie Indianapolis One, LLC is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, coach the team, and maintain high standards of sanitation, safety, and food quality. You will lead the management staff, resolve guest issues, and drive sales while controlling costs.

You will coach and develop Team Members, ensure proper onboarding, and model our 1-4-7 Mission across the dining room and back-of-house. This role requires a strong hospitality mindset and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Service-minded attitude and hospitality knowledge.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and clear communication.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Reliable transportation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Regular attendance required.
• Willing to work ~55 hours/week.
• Tolerance of temperature changes and frequent hand immersion in cleaning solutions.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception.
• Valid manager food safety or equivalent certification as required by state law.
• Adherence to dress and appearance policy including slip-resistant shoes.

Responsibilities

• Attendance as scheduled.
• Lead and model the 1-4-7 Mission to ensure excellent guest service.
• Onboard and train Team Members in the 1-4-7 Mission.
• Recruit, train, and communicate with Managers and Team Members.
• Adhere to wage/hour regulations and restaurant filing responsibilities.
• Be responsible for FOH and BOH results per AOR.
• Conduct quarterly reviews with Team Members using SMART goals.
• Develop and reinforce Team Members' leadership skills.
• Identify strategies to retain top Team Members.
• Write and manage Team Member schedules.
• Control inventory and report concerns to the GM.
• Set daily goals and ensure completion through follow-up.
• Monitor sales to align scheduling with goals.
• Be accountable for food cost, inventory, utility usage, and health ratings.
• Verify recipes are followed.
• Interview and recommend candidates for hire.
• Control funds and bank deposits.
• Ensure equipment is well maintained.

Education
