Tin Lizzie Indianapolis One, LLC seeks a Service Assistant to ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality service. The role supports servers with food running, table clearing, and guest service, while following health and safety standards.

You will work closely with colleagues and uphold our service standards. Responsibilities include dining room setup, handling guest checks, POS operations, and contributing to a clean, safe dining environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and service minded attitude.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and work in a fast-paced dining room.
• Read, write and speak English fluently to communicate with guests and team.
• Compliance with dress code and health/safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled shifts and follow policies and procedures.
• Punctuality: punch in, sign in, check in full uniform, obtain manager approval to punch out.
• Assist with dining room setup, side work, and closing duties.
• Upsell by communicating product knowledge to guests.
• Serve guests according to service standards and maintain cleanliness.
• Handle table and dining room cleanup and operate POS for payments.
• Record tips accurately and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
• Participate in meetings and share improvement ideas.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with liquor laws and age checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work with teamwork mindset.
