Job summary

Tin Lizzie Indianapolis One, LLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage day-to-day restaurant operations and lead Team Members across shifts, coaching and developing staff to maximize sales and ensure sanitation, safety and food quality. The role requires presenting a professional image and handling guest concerns while maintaining budgetary controls.

You will work under the General Manager/Department Manager, training staff and enforcing policies while ensuring 100% commitment to cleanliness

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and fully engaged, service minded attitude.
• Must possess valid Manager food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification if required by state law.
• Able to stand for 10 hours.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic computer usage skills.
• This position requires regular attendance.
• Requires ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions.
• Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
• Compliance with dress and appearance policy including black slip resistant shoes.

Responsibilities

• Attendance as scheduled and policy and procedure compliance.
• Ensure all Team Member training and development is completed correctly to minimize turnover.
• Adhere to petty cash disbursement and accounting procedures and other monetary controls.
• Follow product control measures including food and liquor inventories and loss prevention.
• Oversee line checks, food safety, opening and closing walkthroughs.
• Ensure safety of team members and guests.
• Uphold standards and policies throughout shifts.
• Have authority to adjust shifts to maintain standards and safe operations.
• Protect brand assets and manage keys, codes, deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front and back of house areas.
• Ensure receiving is accurately accounted for at quoted price, if applicable.
• Work with kitchen team to guarantee 100% food quality.
