Job summary

Tin Lizzie Indianapolis One, LLC seeks a Shift Supervisor to manage daily restaurant operations, train Team Members, and lead shifts to maintain service excellence and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires leadership, strong hospitality mindset, and the ability to coach staff, handle guest concerns, and uphold budgetary constraints while presenting a professional image.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or-equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and service-minded attitude.
• Must possess valid Manager food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification if required by state law.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication; read/write/speak English.
• Reliable transportation; basic computer usage.
• Regular attendance required.
• Must tolerate temperature changes and frequent hand immersion in cleaning solutions.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled shifts and follow all policies and procedures.
• Ensure all Team Member training and development is done thoroughly to minimize turnover.
• Follow internal monetary control measures (petty cash, deposits, banking, check writing, register balance).
• Follow internal product control measures (food and liquor inventories, purchases, loss prevention).
• Oversee line checks, food safety, opening/closing walkthroughs.
• Ensure safety of Team Members and guests.
• Uphold brand standards and policies during shifts.
• Have authority to adjust shifts to maintain standards and safe operations.
• Protect brand assets and secure keys, safe codes, and deposits.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of front and back of house areas; maintain service stations, bar, walk-in, storage, and dishwashing areas.
• Ensure receiving is accurately accounted for at quoted price where applicable.
• Work with kitchen to ensure 100% food quality.
