Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in Anaheim to oversee daily restaurant operations and drive sales through excellent guest service. You will lead a high-performing team, train staff, and ensure food safety and quality across FOH and BOH.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, scheduling, inventory, and cost controls, with a focus on maintaining a welcoming culture and consistent performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of food service management experience preferred.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe/Manager) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding FOH & BOH team members.
• Supervise the training and development of FOH & BOH Team Members.
• Uphold food safety and quality by following standard procedures.
• Communicate, train, and educate Team Members on changes and new procedures.
• Conduct succession planning 1-on-1s with team members.
• Manage daily restaurant shift operations and cost controls.
