Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza, a Pizza Hut franchisee in Gallup, NM, is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and uphold service standards. You will lead a team, schedule staff, train new hires, and ensure food safety and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1 year of AM experience, flexibility for weekends/holidays, and a valid driver's license. You will report to the General Manager and contribute to a welcoming, high-quality dining experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred).
• Flexibility to work, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays (Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas).
• Valid Driver's License in good standing - access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent - possess all documents required by state and federal law.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, results oriented and customer service focused.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the General Manager, the Assistant Manager supports daily restaurant operations.
• Oversee daily operations, maintain day-to-day financial controls, manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team; coach and develop staff; ensure food handling and safety standards.
