Job summary

Burger King in Willmar, MN is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and deliver excellent guest service. The AM supports the General Manager, manages a 20–45 person team, and ensures adherence to brand standards.

You will coach shifts, oversee inventory, maintenance, cash controls, and guest experiences, while maintaining efficiency and quality across all restaurant activities. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• HS Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
• 1–2 years of quick service restaurant experience, management experience preferred
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and profitability
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service skills
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Able to work long/irregular shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead profitability through inventory and cost controls, including Daily/Weekly/Monthly inspections
• Place and receive inventory truck orders
• Maintain and monitor restaurant assets
• Ensure preventative maintenance with external vendors as required
• Maintain cash controls and security procedures
• Motivate and direct team to deliver accurate, fast, friendly service
• Coach Shifts Coordinators and Team Members to raise performance
• Direct operations to ensure efficient preparation and timely service
• Uphold brand standards and procedures
• Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary
