Job summary

Potomac Family Dining Group (Applebee's Franchisee) is seeking a restaurant leader to supervise front and back of house operations. Youll work under the GM/AGM, ensure fast, friendly service and maintain standards and profitability.

Responsibilities include shift leadership, opening/closing, and staff development in a high-volume casual dining setting. Youll foster teamwork, uphold safety and sanitation, and drive guest satisfaction while guiding teams toward company goals.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 1–2 years of guest service experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in casual dining.
• Progression towards growing sales and managing a Profit & Loss Statement.
• Reading, writing, and verbal English communication skills required.
• ServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Restaurant Environment during scheduled shifts with discretionary management decision making.
• Ensure prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines and a high guest experience.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures of the restaurant during assigned shifts.
• Develop Team Leads and Team Members for growth within the company.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and inventory; enforce alcohol awareness; manage daily/weekly reports.
