Job summary

Potomac Family Dining Group, an Applebee’s franchisee, seeks a restaurant leader responsible for guiding front and back of house operations during shifts. You will ensure high-quality guest experiences, coach Team Leads and Team Members, and uphold company standards for safety, sanitation, and service.

The role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience in casual dining, strong guest service, and the ability to manage daily/weekly reporting while promoting teamwork and sales growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1–2 years guest service experience.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience, preferably in casual dining.
• Demonstrated progression towards growing sales and managing a Profit & Loss statement.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle difficult guest interactions.
• 21+ years old.
• ServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification a plus.
• English reading/writing and verbal communication skills.
• Bi-lingual experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Restaurant Environment during shifts with discretionary management decisions.
• Ensure prompt, friendly service per guidelines; address guest complaints.
• Maintain inventory and ensure product presentation meets standards.
• Schedule and supervise Front of House and Back of House staff during shifts.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and daily/weekly reports.
• Foster teamwork and maintain professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
