Job summary

Potomac Family Dining Group (Applebee's Franchisee) is seeking a restaurant leader to guide daily operations under the General Manager’s supervision, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to company standards.

Under supervision, the candidate will manage Front of House and Back of House during shifts, oversee team performance, uphold safety/sanitation, and drive profitability while developing staff for growth. The role requires flexible, 50–55 hour weeks and a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 1–2 years guest service and 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred in casual dining.
• Pass background check; ability to pass drug screening where required.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and English communication skills required.
• ServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification a plus; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing front of house and back of house operations during shifts.
• Open and close restaurant procedures during assigned shifts.
• Maintain quality standards and supervise daily/weekly reports.
• Promote teamwork and professional conduct; develop team members.
• Enforce safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness policies.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to protect guest experience.
