Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking an experienced restaurant operations leader to assist the General Manager in achieving sales and profit targets while upholding company policies and standards.

You will direct staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences, enforce health and safety regulations, and participate in staffing, training, and performance reviews. A strong focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
• 1–2 years managerial experience preferred, preferably in the food service industry.

Responsibilities

• Assists the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Ensures menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, safe, sanitary manner.
• Performs/assists all functions for all positions in the restaurant when required.
• Manages productivity and service standards with a trained staff.
• Oversees facility and equipment maintenance, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels and ordering procedures.
• Conducts staffing and performance reviews, and advises on salary adjustments.
• Tracks payroll, costs, and operating expenses; communicates system issues to IT/ops.
• Attends unit management meetings and helps meet objectives.
• Prevents system breakdowns and maintains guest satisfaction.
• Oversees training and development of supervised staff.
