Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a General Manager to partner with the GM in guiding daily restaurant operations and driving sales and profit goals. You will lead staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and enforce company policies and standards.

The role requires overseeing menu execution, safety compliance, staffing, training, and performance reviews while maintaining a high-energy, guest-centric work environment and strong financial controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of managerial experience in food service.
• Ability to manage operations, staff and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned and presented properly per procedures and health regulations.
• Possibly perform any function in the restaurant as needed.
• Maintain productivity and service standards with trained staff.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, energy conservation and safety compliance.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and yield to meet company guidelines.
• Lead staffing, training, and performance reviews; consider salary adjustments.
