Job summary

IHOP in Hillside, Illinois is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to direct the unit's daily functions and help achieve budgeted sales and profits.

You will develop relationships with guests and employees, implement a Craft Training program for hourly staff, and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and SOP standards while supporting SOP-driven objectives and staffing plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Able to recruit, train and retain employees as defined by SOP and plan.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and IHOP staff.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
• Assist in executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service and HR objectives and SOPs.
• Ensure adequate supplies and proper operation of equipment and facilities per SOP.
• Assist in recruitment, training and retention of employees.
• Ensure safety and sanitation practices per regulations and SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
