Job summary

IHOP is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to direct the unit and oversee daily activities in alignment with SOPs and objectives. You will work to achieve budgeted sales and profits while fostering professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.

You will implement the Craft Training program for hourly staff, assist in recruiting and training, ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance, and help maintain assets and reports for the unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–4 years related experience or training.
• Ability to speak and read English; interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Certification through IHOP training courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for hourly staff to improve operations.
• Assist in executing annual financial, local marketing, guest service and HR objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (federal, state, local).
• Assist in recruitment, training, and retention of employees.
• Maintain adequate levels of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure proper operation, safety, and sanitation per SOP.
• Support security practices as defined by SOP.
• Prepare required reports and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
