Universal Store is seeking a General Manager to direct the operation of an IHOP unit. You will lead staff, drive guest satisfaction, and implement training to elevate service and efficiency.

Responsibilities include managing finances, marketing initiatives, compliance with regulations, and daily guest interactions. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience.
• Strong management and guest service experience in a fast-paced restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and the guest experience.
• Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and HR objectives for the unit as defined by SOPs.
• Manage the restaurant floor and focus on regular contact with guests; handle complaints professionally.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Recruit, train and retain staff; conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure food SOP compliance, proper presentation, temperatures, and ticket times.
• Oversee inventory and supplies, ordering, and par levels.
• Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness standards; oversee marketing promotions.
• Submit required reports and paperwork; perform other duties as assigned.
