Universal Store operates an IHOP unit and is seeking a General Manager to direct the operation, build professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests, and drive guest satisfaction through training and SOP adherence.

The role oversees staffing, coaching, compliance, and performance, while ensuring food safety, inventory control, and achievement of annual objectives in guest service and operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests and communicate effectively with employees.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Certification through assigned IHOP training courses.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and guest experience.
• Execute annual financial, local marketing, guest service and HR objectives for the unit per SOP and operations plan.
• Manage the restaurant floor and maintain frequent guest contact, addressing complaints promptly.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for the unit.
• Recruit, train and retain employees; manage performance and conduct appraisals as scheduled.
• Ensure food safety, properFood handling, and accurate par levels; manage supplies and inventory.
• Maintain equipment, premises, and cleaning schedules; ensure safe working environment.
• Oversee safety programs, security practices, and cash handling procedures.
• Implement marketing promotions and keep menus clean and presentable.
• Complete required reports and paperwork; maintain personnel files.

Educación
