Job summary

Universal Store is seeking a hands-on operations supervisor to direct a restaurant unit, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to IHOP SOPs. The role emphasizes budgeted sales, guest experience, and staff development in collaboration with management.

You will oversee training programs, safety, compliance, and reporting while guiding team performance and coordinating with the General Manager to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience.
• Ability to speak and read English; write routine reports.
• Certification through assigned IHOP training courses.

Responsibilities

• Direct operation unit and achieve budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training for hourly staff to improve operations and guest experience.
• Assist in executing annual financial, marketing, guest service and HR objectives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist in recruitment, training and retention of employees.
• Ensure adequate levels of supplies and proper equipment condition.
• Maintain safety and sanitation practices per regulations and SOP.
• Support security practices and complete required reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
