Job summary

The General Manager at IHOP leads the daily operation of the assigned unit, ensuring guest satisfaction and team performance. You will oversee dining room and kitchen standards, implement training programs, monitor safety and quality, and drive financial and marketing objectives per SOP.

You will recruit, coach, and assess staff, manage inventory and scheduling, uphold regulatory compliance, and foster a service-oriented culture that delivers consistent guest experiences across shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to coach and develop staff, and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees.
• Execute annual financial, local restaurants marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives per SOP.
• Manage restaurant floor and maintain guest satisfaction, handling complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the unit.
• Recruit, train, and retain employees; conduct coaching and performance appraisals; enforce policies.
