Job summary

IHOP is seeking a General Manager to direct the operation of an assigned unit, driving guest satisfaction, profitability, and team performance. You will implement training programs, manage staff, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

Responsibilities include supervising hourly staff, developing local marketing efforts, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards while achieving financial and guest-service objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement the Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and the guest experience.
• Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resources objectives according to SOP and operations plan.
• Manage the restaurant floor and maintain regular guest contact while addressing complaints professionally.
• Recruit, train and retain employees per SOP and operations plan; administer performance evaluations and merit increases.
