Job summary

Wendy's Shift Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for guiding daily restaurant operations, training crew members, and upholding food safety and quality standards. You will work closely with the management team to ensure smooth service, effective communication, and a positive customer experience during shifts.

This position requires strong supervision, scheduling, cash handling, and problem-solving to keep the restaurant organized and compliant with company policies while delivering

Qualifications

• Experience supervising fast‑food crew and ensuring service standards.
• Ability to train, coach, and communicate with crew members.
• Familiarity with cash handling and cash register procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing daily operations and ensure readiness for opening and rush periods.
• Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures with crew members.
• Act as cash manager when needed; set up and verify cash at close.
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure restaurant readiness for opening/closing.
• Supervise crew members and trainers to maximize retention and performance.
• Coordinate and delegate operations tasks while upholding company policies to delight customers.
• Ensure quality, production and service standards; maintain safe, professional environment.
• Help maintain crew schedules to meet customer service standards.
• Address Voice of the Customer issues and follow up as needed.
