Job summary

HMSHost in Las Vegas is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in day-to-day QSR operations. You’ll ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, stay compliant with health and safety standards, manage staffing and schedules, and supervise associates across shifts.

The role requires at least 2 years in F&B with cash handling and customer service, plus 6 months supervisory experience. On-site work with varying hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in food and beverage, cash handling and customer service.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists the AGM/GM in supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit.
• Participates in the interview process, provides input in hiring and promotions.
• Assigns work tasks and schedules to ensure shifts are covered.
• Ensures all associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods.
• Maintains displays, cleanliness and visually appealing areas.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per policies and cash controls.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns.
• Performs Health and Safety activities as per health and safety guidelines.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices.
• Keeps company contact information current for all restaurant associates.
