Job summary

Jack in the Box in Long Beach, CA is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Operations Leader to oversee daily operations with or without the Restaurant Manager, ensuring the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise are executed. You will drive guest satisfaction, sales, and profitability while maintaining compliance with policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing staff; upholding food safety and quality; and using data to improve performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• 1+ year as a Shift Leader or 1 year as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; External Recruit: 3 years as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility.
• Must be 18+ years old; ServSafe certified; English communication required.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Internal Service: recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff while ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• External Service: train staff to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain food quality and cleanliness.
• Higher Profits: analyze performance data and implement action plans to increase sales and profitability.
