Habit Burger Grill is seeking an Assistant Manager to work with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced kitchen and dining area. You will coordinate communication among the management team and ensure a consistent guest experience, while supporting sales growth and staff development.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in related food service management position.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certification required.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs.
• Occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding FOH & BOH team members.
• Assist and supervise training and development for FOH & BOH staff.
• Ensure food safety, proper food preparation, and sanitation standards are met.
• Train and communicate changes to procedures, promotions, or equipment.
• Manage daily kitchen and service operations to meet goals and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory, orders, scheduling, and labor costs to optimize performance.
• Support manager with opening, closing, and shift coverage as needed.
