Job summary

Blake’s Lotaburger in New Mexico seeks an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily restaurant operations, ensuring fast, friendly service, quality food and health-compliant operations.

You will lead a team, manage schedules, monitor costs, recruit and train staff, and uphold Blake’s Core Values: KIND, TEAM, PASSION, PROCESS. This full-time role requires leadership and flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must exemplify Blake’s Core Values: KIND, TEAM, PASSION, PROCESS
• Must be 21 years old
• Ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, one or more years of restaurant management experience, an associate’s degree in related field, or college coursework in business management
• Ability to work at least 35+ hours per week, including varying opening, closing, weekends and holidays shifts. Flexibility is critical for management level employees
• Ability to work on an on-call basis in emergencies
• Appearance must be professional, neat, clean and well-groomed
• Must be able to read/write/speak in English
• Food Handler Certified and ability to become ServSafe certified within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Lead management staff and crew to deliver fast, friendly service
• Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs to protect profitability
• Ensure store compliance with health codes and safety procedures
• Develop and maintain staff schedules; coordinate with GM when GM is unavailable
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and developing team members
• Provide training and feedback to improve performance and operations
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to meet targets and customer needs
• Maintain organized, clean, and secure store environment
