Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily operations, deliver friendly, personalized service, and ensure food quality in a clean, inviting environment. You’ll work closely with the District Manager and team to uphold standards and procedures, with training provided to develop management goals.

This role requires leadership experience, flexibility for shifts including weekends, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food service is preferred
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays
• Valid Driver's License in good standing with access to private transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent and ability to provide required documents
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Coach, counsels, and develops staff and manages team relationships
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
• Meet health and safety inspections and standards
• Set a fun, family-friendly tone in the restaurant
