Job summary

bartaco is seeking a results-driven Restaurant General Manager in Atlanta, GA to lead daily operations with a focus on hospitality, quality and profitability. You will oversee guest service, staff development and cost controls while upholding bartaco's standards and brand experience for every guest.

In this role, you will coach and motivate the team, manage budgets, work closely with the GM, and ensure safe, efficient service during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of full-service restaurant experience with leadership experience as an hourly team member (trainer, shift leader).
• Prior high-volume management experience required.
• Dependable, detail-obsessed, open to constructive feedback.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (1:1 and group).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance and 50 lbs with assistance.
• Must be on your feet and alert for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Establishes guest service and satisfaction as a priority through personal example.
• Responds to guest complaints and resolves them so guests return quickly and leave happy.
• Assists the GM with recruiting, training and developing an optimum number of staff dedicated to hospitality.
• Assists the GM in achieving budgets, goals and objectives.
• Assists the GM in community involvement programs and marketing runs.
• Assist the GM to ensure profitability by operating within cost of goods and labor productivity guidelines while delivering quality food and service.
• Assists GM in controlling other operating expenses to minimize costs without harming operations.
• Manages safety by being alert and taking action on hazards.
• Ensures daily restaurant paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
