Job summary

bartaco is seeking a results-oriented leader to oversee daily operation of the Charlotte location, ensuring hospitality, quality, and profitability. You will drive team performance, guest satisfaction, and adherence to budgeted goals while maintaining bartaco's signature service.

With at least 2 years in full-service restaurant management, you will recruit, train and retain staff, manage cost controls, and partner with the GM on marketing and community involvement.

Qualifications

• minimum of 2 years of full-service restaurant experience with leadership as hourly team member
• prior high-volume management experience required
• dependable, detail-obsessed, and open to constructive feedback
• exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted and 50 lbs. with assistance
• standing for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• establishes guest service and satisfaction as a priority through personal example
• responds to guest complaints and resolves them to ensure return visits
• assists the gm with recruiting, retaining, training and developing staff
• assists the gm in achieving budgets, goals and objectives
• assists in community involvement programs and marketing runs
• assist the gm to ensure profitability by managing costs and labor productivity
• assists gm in controlling expenses such as utilities and smallwares
• manages safety by staying alert to hazards and enforcing safety procedures
• ensures daily restaurant paperwork is completed accurately and timely
