Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) to oversee daily restaurant operations in the RGM’s absence. The ARGM will ensure adherence to company standards, delivering high-quality products and guest services while driving profitability.

Key duties include resolving guest inquiries, engaging with guests, assisting RGM with recruitment and scheduling, maintaining a safe, clean workplace, proper food handling, and handling administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to work minimum 40 hrs/wk; including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to promote positive team atmosphere; opportunities for growth/development.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the restaurant in the RGM’s absence.
• Ensure compliance with company standards delivering high quality products and services to guests.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Take responsibility for positive engagement with guests.
• Assist RGM to recruit, hire, develop, and motivate team members; manage work schedules.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable work environment and keep the restaurant clean and equipment in good condition.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, preparation, and presentation of ingredients and menu items for food safety.
• Manage administrative responsibilities.
