Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations in the RGM’s absence, ensuring top quality products and guest service while driving profitability.

The ARGM will focus on guest engagement, staffing, scheduling, safety, and administrative duties, collaborating with the RGM to develop a high-performing team and a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work minimum 40 hrs/wk; including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to promote positive team atmosphere; opportunities for growth/development.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations in the RGM’s absence and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Lead guest engagement and resolve guest inquiries.
• Assist RGM to recruit, hire, develop, and motivate team members; manage work schedules.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable work environment; keep the restaurant clean and equipment in good working order.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, preparation, and presentation of food with strong food-safety practices.
• Manage administrative responsibilities.
