Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) to direct daily operations in the RGM's absence, ensuring compliance with company standards and delivering high-quality products and services to guests. The ARGM will lead with the RGM, recruit and develop team members, manage schedules, and maintain safety and cleanliness in the restaurant.

The role emphasizes strong guest engagement, team development, and profitability through effective operations and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 40 hrs/wk; including evenings and weekends.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations in the RGM’s absence; ensure compliance with company standards delivering high quality products and services to guests.
• Lead with the RGM to recruit, hire, develop, and motivate team members; manage work schedules.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable work environment; ensure restaurant is clean and equipment is in good working condition.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, preparation, and presentation of ingredients and menu items with focus on food safety.
• Manage administrative responsibilities.
